About Tom Holland
Tom Holland is a British actor best known for playing the Marvel superhero Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Holland was first discovered by director Tom Shanks when Holland performed in a dance competition. His big break came when he was cast as the titular character in the 2012 film The Impossible, earning him several awards, including a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award. Holland then went on to star in several films including In the Heart of the Sea, The Lost City of Z, and Edge of Winter. In 2016, he was cast as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, appearing in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. He reprised the role in Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019, and will star in the upcoming 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home.
