About Paul Wesley
Paul Wesley is an American actor, director and producer best known for his role as Stefan Salvatore in The CW’s supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries. He began acting in high school plays, and in 2004 he made his television debut in an episode of the CBS soap opera, Guiding Light. After his stint on The Vampire Diaries, Wesley went on to appear in the films Before I Disappear, Amira & Sam, and The Late Bloomer.
In 2016, Wesley began co-producing and directing episodes of The Vampire Diaries, as well as other shows such as Shadowhunters and Tell Me a Story. He also starred in the CBS All Access drama series, Tell Me a Story, from 2018 to 2020. He currently stars in the Freeform drama series, Legacies, as the character Alaric Saltzman.
